Founded in 1986, CS Realty and Relocation Services helps clients buy, sell, and rent homes throughout Westchester County. Our agents specialize in residential sales, condominium and co-op sales, townhouse sales, and rental housing. This approach allows clients to work with an agent who understands their needs and knows the properties and communities that may suit them.

For founder Craig Scher, real estate has been his first and only career. He earned his New York State real estate salesperson’s license in 1984 at age 19 and his broker’s license in 1986, the year he founded CS Realty. His decades of experience continue to guide the company’s commitment to personal service and knowledgeable representation.

Craig’s use of technology began even before CS Realty launched its website. He created interactive property presentations on CD-ROM and produced the discs in his office, investing in CD-recording equipment that cost thousands of dollars at the time, well before it became commonplace. These presentations helped relocating clients explore properties, communities, schools, and local amenities. His work was featured in The Daily Item on August 18, 1995, in an article titled “House-hunters booting up.”

Craig was an early adopter of internet technology in Westchester County, registering csrealty.com in 1995. He was most likely the first Realtor in Westchester County to establish an internet presence with his own website and domain name. Archived pages from 1996 show CS Realty already providing property listings, rental-market information, and a mortgage-calculator link through its own website. That commitment continues today through practical online tools that help clients search, compare, and plan.
